Registered Nurse

Pride Health is hiring a Travel Med-Surg Registered Nurse to support our client’s medical facility, which is based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. This permanent opportunity is a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Responsibilities:

• Provide care to 5–6 patients per shift (average ratio)
• Perform duties related to MS/Tele unit scope
• Float to other units only in emergencies (5-facility float clause)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a teaching hospital environment
• Attend orientation (first 4 days remote, last day in person)
• Complete Safe Medication Administration & Unit-Specific testing
• Document patient information using EPIC
• Follow facility procedures related to transfusion therapy

Qualifications:

Experience:

• Minimum 1.5+ years in relevant specialty
• Level 1 trauma experience OR Level 2 with travel experience

Certifications Required:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
• Level 1 trauma experience OR Level 2 with travel experience
• Compact RN License

Pay Range: $60/hr (Negotiable)
