Farewell message from NCAPAN Immediate Past President
Posted about 2 hours ago by Kathy Sandel
NCAPAN family,
As December 31st approaches and my term as Immediate Past President ends, I wanted to take a moment to express my deep appreciation for the opportunity to be a part of this incredible organization.
It has been a true privilege to be a part of the organization for over 20 years, and to serve on the Board of Directors for more than a decade. Through the years, I’ve had the honor of working alongside dedicated members, volunteers and leaders who care deeply about NCAPAN and our mission and values.
Every role I’ve held has brought its own challenges and rewards and I am genuinely thankful for the growth, experiences and lifelong friendships that have come with them. Serving this organization and all of you has been one of the most rewarding chapters in my career.
While I will be stepping off the NCAPAN board at the end of this year, I will remain a strong supporter of NCAPAN and its mission. The passion and commitment of our NCAPAN board members gives me great confidence in the future of NCAPAN.
Thank you for entrusting me with the opportunity to serve you over the years.
PeriAnesthesia is more than a specialty, it’s a calling filled with compassionate, skilled and dedicated professionals who care for patients during some of the most vulnerable moments. It’s an honor to stand among such exceptional nurses.
With Gratitude
Marche Tucker, BSN, RN, CPAN, CAPA
Immediate Past President
